Synopsis of Saturday Morning Show

Saved by the Bell’s teen dream Mark-Paul Gosselaar hosted this Saturday morning game show, in which two teen teams were pitted against each other in a series of six contests—two mental and four physical.

The first shows featured one celebrity captain per team, but the last few episodes went the “all star” route, recruiting the young stars of TV’s California Dreams and Saved by the Bell to compete against each other.

Tatyana Ali (“Ashley” on The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air) and Danielle Harris (“Molly” on Roseanne) alternated as Gosselaar’s co-host. The show began as a 1993 summer replacement, ending its run shortly after the start of the fall season.
