
HBO joined the kids’ TV market in 1999 with a variety of new series, including the animated A Little Curious for pre-schoolers.
Mixing CGI, stop-motion, and traditional animation, A Little Curious featured such characters as Mr. String, Bob the Ball, Little Cup, Plush the Dog, and Mop. The animated inanimates taught the wee ones such concepts as “near and far,” “above and below,” and “slippery.”
