Spring bracelets / slinky bracelets

Fashion Synopsis
Someone, somewhere decided that a phone cord was a cool look as a fashion accessory. Stranger things had happened in the 80’s (bullet belts and fingerless gloves among them), but suddenly miniature plastic slinky bracelets were everywhere.
There was the thick phone cord spring or the dainty, slinky-like style, both sold in bright neon colors. When rubber and jelly bracelets lost their favor, spring bracelets stepped in to take control. After an afternoon of stretching out the bracelet, it lost its rebound ability, leaving you with either a broken bracelet or a string of stretched-out plastic. But you were way cool for a while.
