Fashion Synopsis

Sasson jeans got the okay in our book. One of the few unisex ‘designer’ jeans, this stylish label was an absolute godsend to guys whose only other options were Levis or Wranglers. Both guys and girls slipped into the skintight, deep blue indigo jeans that gave you more than a thumbs up.

NO, the hair maverick Vidal Sassoon did not move from tops to bottoms and put his name to a line of designer jeans. Sassons were made by Sasson Jean Inc., a company that created denim and casual wear for fashion plates and full-figured ladies alike. And don’t forget the men. In the late 70’s, Sassons became the official jean of the New York Rangers hockey team. That’s some tough endorsement: who said designer jeans weren’t masculine?!
