Dynomutt, Dog Wonder
Synopsis of Saturday Morning Show
Dynomutt was a robotic crimefighting dog who was also a bit of a dope. His mechanical operations were unpredictable—sometimes his gadgets would backfire, sometimes they saved the day. A canine precursor to Inspector Gadget, if you will...
The title mutt served as sidekick to The Blue Falcon, the superhero alter ego of millionaire art dealer Bradley Crown. When alerted by the Falcon Flash, man and dog would head for the Falcon’s Lair, where they would receive a report from Secret Agent F.O.C.U.S. One, then leap into the Falcon Car to keep Big City safe from evil.
Dynomutt and the Blue Falcon (or B.F., as Dynomutt liked to refer to him) reported directly to Mayor Gaunt, and were occasionally joined by Scooby and the gang while solving crimes.
This 30-minute Hanna-Barbera show was originally one half of The Scooby Doo/Dynomutt Show, which aired from 1976-77. The show went solo as Dynomutt, Dog Wonder for one summer, airing only repeats.
