Synopsis of Saturday Morning Show
The Galaxy Goof-Ups originally aired as a segment of Yogi’s Space Race before spinning off into its own half-hour series two months into the 1978 season. The show took place at an outer space army base and featured Yogi Bear and Huckleberry Hound as members of an unlikely group of outer space patrolmen.
In addition to Yogi and Huckleberry, the group included leader Captain Snerdley, Quack-Up the duck, and Scarebear, an easily frightened bear who inexplicably took the place of Boo-Boo as Yogi’s sidekick.
Without the support of Yogi's Space Race, the series closed shop after only two and a half months on the air.
