The 30s

The 1929 Stock Market Crash makes toys a luxury most 30’s kids can’t afford, but imagination makes do in the meantime. The Great Depression does make the man who invented Monopoly a millionare, and a mouse named Mickey brings smiles to every product his rounded ears grace. Parker Brothers releases Sorry! to a game-hungry public, while View Master brings the whole wide world down into conveniently-packaged picture wheels.

  1. I have an old Mickey Mouse washing machine with pictures of Mickey and
Minnie washing clothes . The machine is metal, and colorful with a crank on
the top. It stands on 3 legs, and is round and stands about 8 inches. I was
told that it is rare, and made around 1932. Can you give me any info on this.
    Thank you.
