Tiny / slinky belts
Fashion Synopsis
The love affair with wide leather belts and huge metal belt buckles that dominated the early 70’s ended when the decade moved to disco. There was a new sheriff in fashion town, and tiny belts were taking over. The slinky belts of the disco era were a dainty addition to the skintight designer denim that hit the dance floor.
In flashy gold, the slim rope draped through the belt loops was the perfect accoutrement to highlight a tiny waist poured into dark denim. Before she slipped into her Candies disco slides and tube top, a true foxy lady always laced a slinky belt through the loop.
