This ingenious device saved many a t-shirt from getting stretched out beyond recognition when you knotted it at your hip, or even better, in the middle of the back, which was cool factor times two. This tight-fitted look in a one-size-fits-all tee was almost impossible to achieve without sacrificing the shirt itself. Sacrifices must be made to look so bitchin’, but then along came the t-shirt ring…

This simple plastic ring had a center divider, which allowed a corner of the wearer’s t-shirt to be threaded through the ring, then pulled through until tight enough to snug the excess fabric across the body. No more constant tying and retying as the shirt stretched out during the day. A simple extra tug fitted the shirt as close as a glove.
