Star Trek

Synopsis of Lunch Box
The original run of Star Trek lasted a little more that three seasons, but its mere 79 episodes in re-runs produced a bonanza of subsequent entertainment and merchandise. Aladdin made the Star Trek metal dome lunchbox with matching thermos in 1968, and the show was cancelled in 1969. Not surprisingly, this lunchbox is one of the most valuable to collectors, who routinely pay hundreds of dollars for its acquisition. The box is bred of the kind of familiarity that only decades of syndication can create.
