Star Trek: The Motion Picture

Synopsis of Lunch Box
After years of conventions and reruns, Star Trek fans finally got to see the Enterprise crew take on a new adventure in 1979’s Star Trek: The Motion Picture. In celebration, King Seeley made a brand-new Star Trek lunchbox with matching plastic thermos. Danger lurked on one side, as the crew made their best “I’m not afraid of you, danger” faces while bathed in an eerie red light. But to reassure lunch-eating youngsters, Kirk’s bemused smirk and Spock’s unperturbed gaze stared out from the other side of the box.
