Remember Dale Evans Western Wear

Dale Evans Western Wear

Fashion Synopsis

Now all the little ladies could look like the ‘Queen of the West,’ cowgirl extraordinaire Dale Evans. Dale and her horse Buttermilk rode into town as the other half of the Roy Rogers Western Wear wonderland that dressed all the little kiddies up as cowpokes.

Westerns brought the wild, wild west to middle America, and Dale and Roy brought Western wear to Sears. Dale licensed her name and image to all sorts of Western inspired playclothes for girls, and taught girls that cowgirls were as cool (if not cooler) than cowboys. With your cowgirl duds, big brother could never force you into being ‘the bad guy’ again. You had a holster and cap gun, too!

So slip into your fringed cowgirl skirt, neckerchief, rodeo hat and cowboy boots, and hit those happy trails…
