Synopsis of Movie

A year after the first Care Bears Movie , Nelvana Productions realized the world still needed love. In response, the company released a sequel, with new Care Bear characters and all-new songs.

Set at a kids’ summer camp, the adventure begins when camper Christy makes a pact with the shadowy Dark Heart in order to become “Camp Champ.” In return, Dark Heart asks that Christy help him capture the Care Bears. With the Bears out of the way, selfishness, greed, jealousy and other base emotions run rampant at the camp.

Luckily, True Heart Bear and Noble Heart Horse have avoided capture and head down to earth for some big-caring heroics, out to prove that maybe even Dark Heart can be reached with enough tenderness.

Filled with music, magic and kiddie-safe action, The Care Bears Movie II was on many a tot’s must-see list back in 1986. A third feature, The Care Bears Adventure in Wonderland, followed a year later.
