In 1974, Scatman Crothers lent his amazingly recognizable voice to the character of Penrod Pooch, a.k.a. Hong Kong Phooey. The Hanna-Barbera show ran on ABC and NBC from 1974 until 1981. In 1975, King Seeley produced this metal lunchbox with matching plastic thermos. Number one super guys everywhere took their lunch to school in this box decorated with the karate-kicking yet inept antics of Hong Kong Phooey.
