Beany and Cecil

Synopsis of Lunch Box
Bob Clampett's iconoclastic and unusual contribution to Saturday morning television, Beany & Cecil (based on Clampett's earlier puppet show Time for Beany,), premiered on television in 1962. The show inspired a fervent and loyal following that still exists to this day. Beany & Cecil merchandise was collectible almost from the moment it was created. In 1962 and 1963 respectively, King Seeley produced these vinyl lunchboxes with matching steel and glass thermoses varying only in background color: one was white, and the other was brown.
