Synopsis of Lunch Box

Unlike the later Campbell's Soup unadorned plastic box, which simply admonished children in block letters with "BACK TO SCHOOL," this 1959 metal box with matching steel thermos pictured children happily playing in a "sports" montage. The box was made by American Thermos and was a more subtle predecessor to the later Campbell's box with no direct advertising of the soup brand save for the thermos.
