Synopsis of Lunch Box

The first of the long (and still growing) string of Planet of the Apes films premiered in 1968. Four more features followed, as did an animated Saturday morning series and a live-action prime time series. Aladdin produced this metal lunchbox with matching plastic thermos for the release of the prime time series in 1974, one of many merchandised items from the popular series of films and television shows. The Planet of the Apes box is a favorite of collectors, and should only grow in popularity as the release of director Tim Burton's new Planet of the Apes film draws near in 2001.
