Synopsis of Lunch Box
Julia, starring Diahann Carol in the title role, premiered on television in 1968. The series offered a different view of family life with a single working mother and her son, without subsisting solely on the dramatic aspects of single parenthood. For children of divorce, it may have been a show with which they could more easily identify. King Seeley produced the Julia metal lunchbox with matching steel thermos in 1969.
