Kids’ favorite bear became the mascot for the one-stop shopping when the paunchy Winnie the Pooh found a spot on children’s clothing at Sears and Roebucks. Pooh and his friends were licensed for a line of children’s wear in bright colors and patterns, made strong and kid tough.

Pooh and friends put their names and images to shoes, dresses, pinafores, fleece jogging sets, pajamas, hats and scarves…just about anything you can put on your body. Everyday was a good day snuggled up in Pooh Corner.
