Synopsis of Lunch Box

Aladdin produced the Treasure Chest metal lunchbox with matching steel thermos in 1961. The design evoked sunken pirate booty (no, not that kind of booty) and tales of riding the South Seas. The dome shape lent a perfect chest-of-gold appearance and certainly accentuated the anticipation of whatever lunch might be hidden inside.
