Lidsville

Synopsis of Lunch Box

Puppetry pioneers Sid & Marty Krofft produced their third stand-alone Saturday morning television series in 1971. Supposedly the result of Sid Krofft's love of hats, Lidsville lasted on CBS for two years before it moved to NBC and eventually into syndication. The surreal adventures of Mark, a boy who falls into a magician's hat and ends up a prisoner of a bizarre world made up of hat people, Lidsville is often a particularly evocative program for adults who had watched it as children. Aladdin produced this metal lunchbox with matching plastic thermos in 1971, picturing Lidsville's most evil resident, Horatio J. Voodoo, terrorizing Mark and his hat-people pals.
