Green Hornet

Synopsis of Lunch Box

TV's The Green Hornet premiered in 1966 and lasted less than a season, but the show rose to legendary status because of one of its stars. Bruce Lee played Kato on the doomed series, and left Hollywood after its cancellation for Hong Kong. He went on to star in a number of extremely well-known martial arts films, including Enter the Dragon. After his well-publicized and mysterious early death, merchandise from The Green Hornet became extremely valuable. King Seeley produced this metal lunchbox with matching steel thermos in 1967. Now it fetches high prices from collectors looking to own a piece of the legendary Bruce Lee who is, ironically, not a featured part of the box's artwork.
