Dukes of Hazzard (1980)

Synopsis of Lunch Box

One of the most popular prime time television series of the 1980's, Dukes of Hazzard gave birth to a number of different cultural products. A line of toys, a Saturday morning show and of course, a lunchbox. Aladdin produced this metal box with matching plastic thermos in 1980. It depicted Bo, Luke, Daisy, and the ubiquitous General Lee on one side, and the crazy antics of Boss Hogg on the other. The side panels delivered various rad illustrations of General Lee jumping over fiery explosions! Young kids of all walks could proudly take their lunch to school in a receptacle dedicated to the Confederate-flag-laden Dodge Charger and its handsome young drivers. Yeee Hah!
