You are in control of a team of 4 prisoners of war (POWs) \u2013 a British POW, a Frenchman, an American and a Polish POW) The aim of the game is to attempt an escape from the Colditz Castle. Each character is allowed to move freely within his<br \/>\nown quaters, and at certain times in the inner courtyard.  You will need to<br \/>\nexplore deep into the German quaters in order to collect the equiptment you<br \/>\nneed to escape.<\/p>\n<p>CONTROLS<br \/>\nJoystick in port 2<\/p>\n<p>Pressing fire uses your currnetly selected object.  Some objects can only be\u00a0used in specific locations.<\/p>\n<p>To open and close doors, select the correct key, press fire and walk into the\u00a0doorway. Select the correct\u00a0tool, stand over a weak spot on the floor and press fire.<\/p>\n<p>A stone can be thrown to distract a nearby guard.  Select the stone in your\u00a0inventory window and press fire.  the lonhger you hold fire, the further you\u00a0will throw the stone.<\/p>\n<p>To use a disguise select the german uniform and press fire.<\/p>\n<p>You will come across other objects in your search, all of which are used in\u00a0the same way.<\/p>\n<p>YOUR MEN<br \/>\nYou can set up one or more of your men as &#8216;stooges&#8217; or lookouts, by pressing\u00a0F10.  When a German comes near to him, control will automatically switch to\u00a0him and thereby give you a warning of approaching guards.  To come out of\u00a0&#8216;stooge&#8217; mode reselect him by pressing keys F1 to F4.<\/p>\n<p>KEYS<br \/>\nSpace &#8211; Toggles Walk\/Run.<br \/>\nLEFT and Right Arrow &#8211; Cycles through your inventory.<br \/>\nUP arrow &#8211; Pick up<br \/>\nDown arrow &#8211; Put down.<\/p>\n<p>F1                                      Control British POW<br \/>\nF2                                      Control French POW<br \/>\nF3                                      Control American POW<br \/>\nF4                                      Control Polish POW<br \/>\nF5                                      View all POW&#8217;s<br \/>\nF10                                     Stooge<\/p>\n<p><strong>Well known cheats include<\/strong><br \/>\nDuring play type: &#8220;Keymaster&#8221;\tand you receive all the keys<br \/>\ntype: &#8220;die die die&#8221;\t and all the guards die<br \/>\ntype: &#8220;i want everything&#8221; and you gain the whole inventory<\/p>\n<p><strong>Strategy<\/strong><br \/>\nNever carry too much equipment at once because if you&#8217;re caught, every item will be confiscated and lost. Stash equipment in &#8220;Safe&#8221; areas (e.g. the Chapel) as these places are never searched by the Germans.
