Early played Teddy Roosevelt,Capt.Miles Standish,\u00a0General Robert E.Lee,General (Later US President) Grant,Dr.Alexander Graham\u00a0Bell,Leonardo Divinci,Christopher Columbus,Chief Sitting Bull,General(Later\u00a0US President)George Washington and Dr.Franklin.<\/p>\n<p>Three of the shows&#8217;..the ones where Mr.Early played Teddy Roosevelt\u00a0and later Capt.Standish.were taped on location at Sag Habor,N.Y. and at The\u00a0Pilgrim&#8217;s settlement in Plymoth Rock,Ma. Mr.Early&#8217;s last installment of&#8221;Come\u00a0Along&#8221; was taped in Philadelphia..where he played Dr.Franklin.<\/p>\n<p>The remainder of the shows were taped in the studio.<\/p>\n<p>The series lasted one season in first run episodes..they were later\u00a0rerunned for a time..and then they were withdrawn from syndication.<\/p>\n<p>Mr.Early would portray famous men from history on another\u00a0historical recreation series&#8230;this format&#8221;Meeting Of The Minds&#8221;hosted and\u00a0created by Steve Allen and his wife Jane Meadows Allen was aimed at\u00a0a more adult viewing audience.<\/p>\n<!--CusAds0-->\n<div style=\"font-size: 0px;
