run.<\/p>\n<p>There was also a changed in the hosting jobs..as Mr.Buxton left the\u00a0program for other projects and the series&#8217; announcer:Mr.Bill Owen became\u00a0Ms.Gibson&#8217; new co-host.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Discovery&#8221;would go onto win many emmys and became a hit with\u00a0kids,teachers and parents.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Discovery&#8221;would remain on ABC TV&#8217;s sunday morning\u00a0schedule..\u00a0until the heads of The ABC TV Network dropped the show in 1970 and\u00a0replaced it with&#8221;Make A Wish&#8221;.<\/p>\n<!--CusAds0-->\n<div style=\"font-size: 0px;
