This was a\u00a0George Barris\u00a0customised 1955\u00a0Lincoln Futura\u00a0concept car from the American television series\u00a0<em>Batman<\/em>\u00a0and the Corgi model featured rocket launchers, pulsating red plastic &#8216;flames&#8217; from the engine exhaust, an operational die-cast metal chain cutting blade in the nose of the car and models of &#8216;Batman&#8217; and the boy-wonder &#8216;Robin&#8217; sitting in the seats. The Batmobile went on to sell over five million examples staying in the range until March 1979, and was another huge success for the company.<\/p><div class=\"e526d1e761560160a119e3b74cb2a974\" data-index=\"1\" style=\"float: none;
