programs\u00a0..where he took his viewers on a trek to The Lindberg museum and after\u00a0watching the episode he felt that Fox had the talent and sincre personality\u00a0to mc the network&#8217;s kids tv show.<\/p>\n<p>He was hire and &#8220;Let&#8217;s Take A Trip&#8221;debuted on The CBS\u00a0TV Network on Sunday afternoon April 17,1955.<\/p><div class=\"e526d1e761560160a119e3b74cb2a974\" data-index=\"1\" style=\"float: none; margin:5px 0 5px 0; text-align:center;\">\nskool\r\n<script async src=\"\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js\"><\/script>\r\n<ins class=\"adsbygoogle\"\r\n     style=\"display:block\"\r\n     data-ad-format=\"autorelaxed\"\r\n     data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-1609637348681190\"\r\n     data-ad-slot=\"3558122710\"><\/ins>\r\n<script>\r\n     (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});\r\n<\/script>\n<\/div>\n\n<p>Every week Sonny and his two young traveling companions\u00a0Ms.Ginger Macmanus and Mr.Brian(&#8220;Pud&#8221;)Flannagan would take their viewers\u00a0on trips to such locales as&#8221;The American Ballet Theater Co.&#8221;..where they would\u00a0meet and discuss dance techniques with the famous choreographer:George Ballenchine,\u00a0Attened the 1955 &#8220;Toy Fair&#8221;,join in a Boy Scouts Jamboree and even meet President\u00a0Harry S.Truman.<\/p>\n<h3>Let&#8217;s Take A Trip grows in popularity<\/h3>\n<p>The show became very popular with young viewers and\u00a0it was also praised by parents and teachers.However..by 1957..Fox would\u00a0have to hire two new traveling companions.<\/p>\n<p>Ms.MacManus had outgrown her role and she was forced\u00a0to leave the program..instead of hiring one new young traveling companion.<\/p>\n<p>The producers replaced both MacManus and Flannagan\u00a0with Joan Terrance and Jimmy Walsh.<\/p>\n<p>The trio continued to take their viewers on more video\u00a0treks..until the network execs decided to cancell their reservations following\u00a0the Sunday February 23,1958 broadcast.<\/p>\n<p>Ginger MacManus would mc one more children&#8217;s\u00a0tv series..when on Monday evening September 15,1958, she became\u00a0the first host\/peformer of WOR TV Ch.9 NYC&#8217;s&#8221;Looney Tunes Show&#8221;.\u00a0Which she would mc weekday evenings..until she left the show\u00a0following the Friday January 9,1959 broadcast.And she was replaced Monday evening\u00a0January 12,1959 by Paul Tripp<\/p>\n<p>Sonny Fox would go onto briefly serve as the mc of\u00a0the prime time tv game show &#8220;The $64,000 Challange&#8221; and then..he would\u00a0go onto greater tv fame as the fourth and most memorable host of WABD\/\u00a0WNEW TV Ch.5 NYC&#8217;s sunday morning kids tv variety show &#8220;Wonderama!&#8221;.<\/p>\n<!--CusAds0-->\n<div style=\"font-size: 0px;
