They almost seem to relate to Snooker scoring with the colours representing numbers.<\/p><div class=\"e526d1e761560160a119e3b74cb2a974\" data-index=\"1\" style=\"float: none; margin:5px 0 5px 0; text-align:center;\">\nskool\r\n<script async src=\"\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js\"><\/script>\r\n<ins class=\"adsbygoogle\"\r\n     style=\"display:block\"\r\n     data-ad-format=\"autorelaxed\"\r\n     data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-1609637348681190\"\r\n     data-ad-slot=\"3558122710\"><\/ins>\r\n<script>\r\n     (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});\r\n<\/script>\n<\/div>\n\n<p>The set consists of 10 rods measuring 1 cm to 10 cm. Rods of equal length are assigned the same colour. Most Cuisenaire rods follow this system:<\/p>\n<p>White rod = 1 cm.<br \/>\nRed rod = 2 cm.<br \/>\nLight green rod = 3 cm.<br \/>\nLavender rod = 4 cm.<br \/>\nYellow rod = 5 cm.<br \/>\nDark green rod = 6 cm.<br \/>\nBlack rod = 7 cm.<br \/>\nBrown rod = 8 cm.<br \/>\nBlue rod = 9 cm.<br \/>\nOrange rod = 10 cm.<\/p>\n<p>It was reported from schools at the time that most teachers had a realisation that they are capable of far more than traditional teaching.
